We completely transformed this space by taking down the wall and large fireplace that separated the kitchen from the family room. This client wanted a classic and neutral kitchen. We chose a quartzite counter with subtle movement and then selected field tiles for the backsplash that picked up the various colors in the slab. We then chose a light but warm taupe paint color for the custom cabinets. We carried these selections into the bar behind the dining table.

We chose a velvety blue green sofa fabric with similar colors in the rug. We carried the warmth of the dining table into the coffee table and incorporated a lovely side table my client already owned.
